well im a failure

I.had my first speech today. Class just started two weeks ago.

Started to choke on my spit and couldn't stop coughing barely was able to catch my breathe. Apparently, I hold my salivia in my mouth when nervous thus making it hard to give a speech.
Oy.
The professor was just writing like a mad woman.
I hope I got a semi decent grade. It was just the first one and was only the 2nd week of class.
Oy. Glad its done but damn. That sucked.

I tried. But I ran out of time. It was a 3-5 minute speech and she was like stopppp! When 5 minutes were up.

 Been there. So glad I passed speech class and hopefully will never have to speak in public again!

I hate giving speeches too... it helps if you build yourself up for it.. When walking up there, just think to yourself, I am just as good as everyone else in this class... Just focus on that...

I always think "no one is paying attention anyway"! It helps me whether it is true or not.

Dude.  I HATE when that happens!!!  I hold my spit when im concentrating and then always choke on it too.  It freaking sucks.  Feels like you are drowning.

I'm majoring in comm.  I can do speeches without a second thought now.  One thing that really helps is meeting everyone in your class so they aren't strangers.  Another thing you can do is remember that they are all just as nervous as you are.
