He literally throws a tantrum. Screaming and crying! I cant convince him to let me cut them. I have even tried waiting till he falls asleep. As soon as I touch his fingers he wakes up. I managed to cut one nail.
Edit: he has hf autism and sensory issues
He isnt being defiant. This is all anxiety and sensory issues.
He tries. He says okay lets do it but at the last moment the anxiety is to much for him. So stop calling him a brat. You have no idea what your talking about and you sound like an idiot.
Edit 2: for all giving me grief for not putting hf autism in the op...
1. I said he had sensory issues in the very FIRST page. 8 comments down. It wasnt very hard to see YET it was missed, sooooo I did the first edit for those who missed it. I dont mind that they didnt see it but dont give me grief when it was right there.
2. Even AFTER I put the edit in, there were nasty remarks. IN FACT.... The worst comments started AFTER I edit and added his autism diagnosis. This was what I was trying to avoid in the first place.
3. I dont care that people suggested to hold him down. We have in fact held him down ( didnt work). I called someone an idiot for a comment made that autism = f*cking spoiled brat. As well as other equally nasty remarks. All of which were deleted when I reported it. Again, this was the reaction I was avoiding by not mentioning autism in the op. All I was doing was looking for some good advice without people bashing autistic children. I see it happen in here all the time.
Not everyone is a drama whore.
I want to thank all of you with good advice. Im going to see how the file works.
