Oh Ma Godd... I need a diva cup!
Was my first thought when I got my first period (since the conception of my - now 5 month old - son) today.
UGH...
Thanks ladies... now when I get my period that's going to be my first thought, every time! Just the thought of a diva cup still baffles my mind!
On a good note, I did not experience the typical first day cramps that usually cause me to spend the day in agony on the couch.. I felt surprisingly wonderful all day!
I am absolutely neutral about it!
but the thought collecting it in a cup and having to deal with that does make me giggle a little bit.
At 24 years old, the first time I heard about this was a few weeks ago on this site and I just never imagined anything like this before!
What a new and strange concept for me :)

Maybe I missed a previous post? Are you anti cup?
I love mine!
im too clumsy for it... id probably spill it all over hahaha
Lol, that has occurred to me... how mortifying would it be if you had to empty it in a public bathroom and spilled it on the floor?? And if there was someone in the next stall??? Ha ha, What is the proper etiquette in a situation like that? Zip up, cover your face and run?

Only pictures... I don't think I've ever seen them in stores, but next time I have to buy those products, I am going to make a point to look for them, for curiosity's sake.
Maybe once I get over the whole idea of them, I would consider trying them... but for now, everything about them makes me laugh.

I was shown one by a friend and she showed me how to fold it up so it could go up... and then she said 'you let it go' and let it go and it literally popped. I laughed and laughed. dh witnessed it and the look in his face made me laugh more lol

Quoting Anonymous:Ha ha, I bet he took special note of which pot you were using so he could hide it at the back of the cupboard and never use it again.

I love my Diva Cup. My mister hated to see it boiling on the stove lol
