Whenever I talk to the kids, he finishes of my sentence for me. Yet if I dare do anything as equally annoying as that, he would do his nut. Does anybody have anything witty to say what I can use for next time he does it.

Meh , i am more blunt and to the point .
i would just look at him and wait unti the kids were not in ear shot and tell him that he doesn't appreciate when you do it , so you would like the same respect in return.
