Yea, it sounds just as pointless and stupid when you mothers of bi-racial/multi-racial children do it.

Why the hell do parents of mixed kids feel the need to constantly display their children as if they are in possession of some rare life form? Who the hell cares that you have mixed kids?! Why must we play "guess which race my kid is" games with you?! Why must the first words that come out your mouth when someone compliments your kid be "thanks, she's mixed with..."

When someone compliments my child, I don't respond with "thanks! She's black! "

We get it, you have mixed children... No one cares.

My kids are not " mixed " like a dog, they are biracial. I don't " display " my kids and never post pics so I know you aren't talking to me :)

I don't typically say anything about my kid's race unless it is a topic or someone asks.

I know a family who has a mixed poster child.

They treat the other kids like shadows (pale white, from mother's previous marriage), but the youngest, is the token.

I just watch like wtf lol

 i'm human, dh is human (i think) my kids are human (sometimes)

i (mostly) dont have mixed race kids

neither does anyone else, unless they bred with a dolphin or something

my kids are mixed, too! 

They are German, Irish, Dutch, Jewish, Native American, Swiss-Italian, Danish, and English. 

this is what crosses my mind when I hear people ask discuss this.
