Call me crazy, but I feel kinda bad for men when they start dating, because they can drop $50+ on a first date, and what if you guys hate each other? You've just spent all that money...

Is that random? Lol. I always go halfsies on first dates.

Wyt?

I always bring money and offer to pay because i feel awkward if some pays for me. Never had a guy let me pay yet though.

I am a firm believer in whoever asks pays.

That being said I have never dated a man that would let me pay...even though I always offered.

I always bring money and offer to pay just because I feel super awkward when someone else pays for me. But I've never actually went on a date where a guy let me pay. It would probably be a turn off if he did haha

I think the person that asked the other person out on  a date should pay for the first date.

I offered to help pay for my part of dinner, but my now DF would have no part of it. I always at least offer, but usually they say "I got it"

I've always felt that whomever asks for the date is supposed to pay. I wouldn't ask a guy out and expect him to pay for it; thats just rude lol "Hey, I think you're cute, buy me dinner and pay for me to watch a movie". lol

If a man doesn't have enough money to pay for a date, he doesn't have enough money to qualify as a potential husband.

I have been married now for 15 years and my husband takes very good care of me.
