I've never met my MIL. She passed when my husband was 17. I wish that I had the chance to get to know her and that our kids could've had her in their lives. She was a very lovely person from what I'm told.

I don't know her other than she seems to be greedy :/ We haven't met face to face and she was disappointed when she found out he was marrying a white girl(which I understand a little). She always talks about how she doesn't have enough money, and my DH hates it so he doesn't call home anymore :(

I "like" my mil lol. She can be pleasant sometimes, but I can't say we'd ever be really close. If you've watched Everybody Loves Raymond, then you'll know what I mean when I say my mil is exactly like Marie.
