That's right! I just have a question.
What's A Good Backpack for a one year old? He hates being constrained in the Moby so I need something else. Help me out ladies.
Okay! I've narrowed it down to two carriers. Unfortunitly no stores carry them locally so I can't try them on. From what I can tell the construction in both is about the same. Except one, the Ospey has foot straps a better sun shade (important it gets windy here, Very windy) and a chin rest (aka droll spot)
The other, (the Kettle) has a sun shade and works the same as the osprey minus the rain cover, chin drool rest, and stirrups.
They are almost exaclty the same, and the Osprey is 50 dollars more.

Okay so went to REI, and all of the Kelty backpacks were out of stock. I tried on the Osprey, and I LOVE it. So comfortable! I went ahead and bought that one plus the rain cover. We are rocking! Here we are after a good hour walk.

Thanks for the bump! Almost all the reviews out there are for infants. Not much info is out there for bigger babies.

He doesn't know how to walk yet, and for long zoo trips and trips to the grocery store (we almost never take the car) it's much simplier to carry him.

Oh we have a hikers backpack with the metal brace for your back. We have it since our first and rarely use it so its in great shape still six years later. It was worst the money, I don't remember the brand but we bought it at bass pro shops.
