Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

I was ALMOST abducted from the Bronx Zoo at age 3......

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
I was with my mom, her boyfriend & his son. The four of us were walking, and her BF was holding his sons hand & my hand. My mom said she bent down to tie her shoes, when she was done she looked up at her BF & noticed I wasn't with him. She asked where I was - he said he thought my mom grabbed my hand so he let go of me (didn't even bother to turn, look & make sure) - my mom panicked & she said something told her to run to the the area where you left the zoo -- & sure enough she saw a man holding my hand, trying to walk out of the exit with me.

She screamed for him to stop, screamed for help & two men ran up and grabbed the man. He told police that the he found a little girl & was escorting her to lost & found so she could find her mommy!! (sure you were, that's why you were trying to exit the zoo with a crying little girl)

Anything crazy ever happen in your life that could've ended up a lifetime movie?

*I actually experienced something worse than almost being abducted at the zoo ::

When I was 7, I remember being woken up in the middle of the night by my mother, she grabbed me and put her finger over her mouth (as to say SSSHHHH - be quiet) we ran and hid under our kitchen table (it was a round glass table but we had a super long table clothe (it almost reached the ground) anyway we were hiding under the table & I saw two pairs of black boot walking around our apartment (it scared the shit out of me)

They were there for what felt like forever (my mom said it was like 5/10 mins) - crazy shit is they didn't ransack our apartment or even take anything.

We moved to Staten Island like a day or two later.

Later on in life I found out that my bio dad was into some shit he shouldn't have been into & those guys were there looking for him. My mom & dad hadn't been together since I was like 1 - but it was the last known address they knew he lived at.

As a child I was raped by a neighbor, but I think I was going to be abducted when I was in my early 20's. I was newly married and working at a Veteran's thrift shop. We only had one car so most of the time I took the bus. One day, hubby said he was sending a friend to pick me up, so to not take the bus. I didn't know this friend at all, so I had no idea what he looked like.

As I was waiting outside (the store had closed up and no one was there), a guy in a truck pulled up to me. He wasn't wearing cammies (hubby was a Marine), so I already had my suspicions. I asked the guy if he was my husband's friend, specifically not mentioning a name so as not to give anything away. He said he was and that he was there to pick me up. He looked really nervous though, so my instincts told me to deny the ride. I don't remember exactly what I said, but he did admit he wasn't hubby's friend. He kept trying to get me to come in the truck, but I refused. I should mention, that was a lot for me, because I was extremely timid, submissive and shy.

Anyway, he finally pulled away. I waited another 45 minutes before I decided to just take the bus. The guy drove by again and told me to get in. I refused. He kept coming back around, over and over again. Finally the bus came, I got on and the guy followed me! He stopped when he saw the bus going on base and I never saw him after that, but I always wonder to this day what would have happened had I 1. Gotten in the truck and 2. I wasn't going on base.

Sadly, I know someone who was when he was a little kid. He was picked up one day after he missed the school bus and started walking home. The guy dropped him off on the side of the road after he was "done" with him, so he did not end up dead or missing, but it was still awful. :(

When I was 17, a friend and I went to Wal-Mart late one night. As we were walking up to the front, an older guy in about his forties wearing a black cowboy hat kind of smiled at me obviously as we passed him. We ended up behind him at checkout because most of the other's were closed down. It was really late, and there wasn't many people there.

I said to my friend "It's hot in here." I was wearing a big jacket, and the front was open and I had on a v-cut shirt. I am not one to show my cleavage, but you could see a little bit. The guy turns around and nods to my barely exposed chest and says "It doesn't look like you're too hot." while smiling and staring. I kind of gave a very nervous laugh and looked at my friend like "Wtf?" Then he asked me how old I was and some other questions. I told him I was married, then we ignored him.

He gave us major creepy vibes, so we sat on a bench in side the store for at least another 10 minutes after we saw him walk out. We finally got up and when we were walking down the aisle to the car, we see the guys truck parked RIGHT behind my car, and he was turned around looking at us, so we turned around and ran back inside the store. We saw this huge, probably 6'4 black guy there who worked there so we told him about the guy and asked him if he would walk us to our car. He did, and we got in and sped to exit the parking lot. The guy immediately followed us. When I got to that exit, I turned like I was going one way, and he got in the lane to turn that way, then I quickly turned the other way and cut traffic. He got stuck behind a couple of other cars, but right as we went over a hill, we saw his truck was coming out way again. That hill gave us a chance to turn off on a road. I sped and took all the back roads I knew.

I sincerely believe that guy had plans of abducting me.

When I was about 3 I think, I went to the Grand Canyon with my parents and my brother. We were stopped at one of the lookout places on the side of the road and my brother and dad were out standing by the edge (a small railing was all that was there then to block the edge) and my mom was getting me out of the car. When I got out of the car I went running over to my dad and I slipped on some loose gravel and if my dad hasn't grabbed me I would have slid right over the edge!
I don't remember it at all but even now as I'm typing it my palms are getting sweaty just thinking about it.

When my x worked at the sherriffs office, I had an inmate who hated him kick in my front door. I was home alone with our child.
There was a post a few years back on here about someone hiding under your windows and using a baby crying (recorded)or a cat, a lot of the moms said it wasn't true... it was. Happened to me.
I carry a gun. (:

at the time i wasnt thinking of the whatifs, i just felt danger and reacted. but looking back on it, i think he was either going to try to mug me or steal my car. it seemed like he was waiting by the door til he found an easy target. when he saw us, he went for it.

few yrs ago i was living up on a military base and my sil and bil had moved in with us. i had a 7mth old and she had a 1mth old baby. we went grocery shopping one night and when we walked out the front of the store and there was a HUGE guy in a full length black leather coat and black boots leaning against the building kinda hiding his face. i noticed him as soon as we walked out and it gave me a weird vibe, i told my sil to walk in front of me and put the babies in the car as soon as we got to it and lock her doors. she asked why and i just told her to do what i told her and dont ask. well we had to park wayyy at the back so it was quite a walk, about halfway down to the car i looked back and he was following us at a quick pace and he had his hand reached inside his coat. we walked the rest of the way to the car and as soon as we got to it, she shoved the carseats in it and i yanked my driver door open and looked back, he was crossing the row in a jog straight for me. i reached in the driver door pocket where my .45 was and pulled it out and chambered it, went to raise it and he turned around and bolted. i heard him say "oh shit" right as i went to raise it. it was very clear to me what was happening and it felt like it was kind of in slow motion or something, the whole scene prolly took less than 60 seconds, but it felt like an hr. it was very surreal. my sil was freaking out when she figured it all out. we went home and told our husbands (who are brothers) and they went back looking for him, never found him tho. i geuss a little girl with a gun scared him.

What do you think he was trying to do? So many things are running through my head. :/

When I was 15, a boy (he was 19) who lived down the street and knew my brother broke into my parents home and almost killed my brother. He had to get staples in his head becouse he hit him the with a tire iron. He was unconscious for a while before he could call for help .The police looked for his finger prints and found them on my bedroom door and my closet door along with all my stuff he through out my closet like he was looking for me. I was at a freinds house. It took six months to find him and my brother had a go to trial. He got 18 years for attempted murder.
