I'm making kind of a munchie buffet Sunday, just incase people stop over (we don't have "superbowl parties", every time we have, someone's ended up in jail)

Looking for some new ideas, what do you make?

Lumpia is always a big hit with my family.  I don't make it very often, but when I do, I have to make a ton.

Not complicated, just time consuming.  And so not good for you.  lol

Basically its Philippine (sp?) egg rolls.  You take regular egg roll wraps and add a filling of your choosing.  I believe the basic filling is rice, seasonings and meat.  Wrap like an egg roll and deep fry.

I have to make 3 different types.  Sausage, chicken and hamburger.  All have seasoned rice and shredded carrots.  The chicken one (my favorite), also has chopped water chestnuts and chopped broccoli.  We serve them with sour cream, sweet and sour sauce, and honey mustard for dipping.

I have three different families I have to make them for when I make them.  Plus, my husband insists that I make extra for freezing.

I thought about pizza, or meatball hoagies... but I wanted to change it up a little. One year I made muffaletta's, they were a hit! But I'm not as much of a foodie now, so I have a hard time coming up with ideas :/
