The scariest thing that ever happened to me

I was staying in a hotel with my husband several years ago and had gone downstairs to the car to get something. On my way back up to our room, I got in the elevator and this HUGE black man (like 6'5, easily 250, all muscle) got in with his dog. I don't know why but I got really nervous which is funny because I'm not racist! We were going up and it was quiet, and all of a sudden he shouted, "DOWN ON THE FLOOR LADY!!!"
Let me tell you, I was down on the floor in a heartbeat, thinking "That's it. I'm dead." (Wtf I'm in an elevator, what am I going to do to a man 100lbs and a foot taller than me?).
He said, "Not you ma'am, the dog!!!"
Seriously most embarrassing and terrifying thing ever.

i don't know whether to laugh or cry. funny story, but I'm kinda embarrassed for you that you're a closet racist without even knowing it.
the only time I've ever felt threatened by strangers is when in close proximity to young preppy frat boy types. they scare the fuck out of me. they can get away with anything, and do.
