Clip your freaking toenails!

Last night DH and I were horsing around a bit, and he laid back on the bed and pulled his bare feet up. I was aiming for him with my hands outstretched and his toes made contact with my hand...and sliced part of my palm open! I was shocked; I pulled my hand back and looked at it. HE DREW BLOOD! I glared at him and said, "You drew blood!" He was sorta surprised. This dude has notoriously long, sharp toenails and he doesn't trim them as often as he should. His mom says his dad is the same way; to cut them, he literally has to take a tool from the shed and sand them down. Gross. Gee, the lovelies I have to look forward too. She says she's had cuts on her legs from his toenails in the night.

What sorts of nasty things about your SO's body do you wish he'd attend to more?

I married a man who is mature enough to look after grooming needs.

He has the same problem with his toes. But he never clips them, he'll just sit there and try to rip them off. I've cut them a few times while he's sleeping.

Well, goodness, aren't we just Mrs Perfect?

He ended up ripping off that one and taking too much off; so he bled too.

Wow, this might be a record.  Someone had to to resort to the idiot 'YOU'RE PERFECT' arguement this early in the morning.

I am not perfect, nor is he.  But we are mature enough to look after ourselves.

Sorry if that hit a nerve.

I love to pluck my SOs eyebrows. They are crazy with gray ones spiking out saying "hello". He pretends that he doesn't like it, but he absolutely loves the attention. It's a great way to stare at each other.

If his freaking toenails are all I am complaining about, all of a sudden he's immature? Slippery slope much? It's toenails. They hurt, but goodness, assuming he's immature because they're too thick to cut just makes YOU look like the dummy. I hope you have a husband who is as good to you as mine is to me.
