Would you be nervous?

My 17 year old is flying by himself today.  He has a connecting flight that he will have to find and board himself.  My 19 year old is flying in on Sunday and will have to do the same.

I know they are perfectly capable of reading their flight information, getting to where they need to be, and asking for help if needed, but...it still makes me nervous as heck.  I am feeling so anxious right now just thinking about it.

I flew alone at 17.  Houston to Dallas, Dallas to Phoenix, Phoenix to Las Vegas.  Changed planes at every stop.  My mom was so stressed out she made me an unaccompanied minor, so I had to have an airport escort the entire day of traveling.  It was embarassing as hell.  I'm perfectly capable of reading the boards and asking people if I'm not sure.

I would never do that...lol.  They have flown alone before. It still make me a nervous wreck. I feel like I am going to puke.

Depends on the airport. Places like Charlotte or Dallasaren't so bad, but if they were going to JFK or LAX, I'd be a wreck.

He is connecting in Dallas on his way out and his way in.  I am still nervous...lol.

The 19 year old connects in San Francisco.

I would be, but I flew for the first time when I was 23, I had $100 & was flying with miles. I flew from Pittsburgh to DC, where my flight to Dallas got cancelled. I freaked. They wouldn't give me a hotel voucher, they wouldn't let me sleep in the airport.. It took 3 hours and some very panicked phonecalls (on a payphone no less, I didn't have a cell) for me to remember that my older brother lived in DC, lol, and worked for Hertz, so I took the shuttle, he picked me up and we went and got drunk. Good times.... although my luggage went to Dallas without me. Still a crazy memory.

They'll be fine!! Especially if they've done it before :)
