Pajama Day!?!?!

Ds has been looking forward to pajama day all week. Well, today is the day, he changed from his sleept in pj's to a clean pair of Spiderman pj's. He put his slippers in his backpack and was so excited to go to school.
Dh called me after dropping Ds off and asked if I was sure it was pajama day today. I am but double checked the calendar anyway... it is pajama day... but Dh said every one else was in jeans. :(
Why wouldn't preschoolers want to participate? I hope Ds isn't embarrassed.

I do, too!
We are celebrating pj day at home today, too. More out of laziness though.

My ds didn't want to do pajama day and neither did a friend of mines ds. I think they just feel silly because they knows jammies are bed time clothes and they've never gone to school in their jammies, ya know?!

Poor baby...:(

Hopefully the teacher participated and when he gets home just explain to him that it was pajama day and show him the calendar and maybe some kids didn't have pajamas or they forgot it was pajama day.

If dh & you are home when he gets home have your PJ's on and make it a PJ day at home too ;) take a pic or 2 it would be special especially for your boy. GL

Awww, I'm sure other kids wore their jammies too. I always get nervous on those days though. I'm bad at keeping track of dates so I worry I've sent my kid to school looking ridiculous. I don't think ds would even care if he were the only one that looked silly, he's an attention seeker.

My DD's school is big on themed days, but I noticed half the school doesn't participate in pajama day, either. I'm always worried DD will be the only one in her class in pajamas. Although she wouldn't care, lol.
