Trusting your child with a child molester

My grandfather molested my mother for many years of her childhood. He went to prison and did his court ordered therapy. The family believes he has changed, My aunts and uncles even let my cousins stay at my grandparents when they were little. And now that I have children of my own I cringe at the thought of him holding them let alone letting my helpless children stay for overnights. Do you believe child molesters can change? Would you ever trust one?

Nope! Same thing happened with my mom and her dad and I'd be damned if I'd leave my kids there!! I spent a lot of time at my grandmothers growing up but once grandpa was there, we stopped staying there

I would not allow my children within 100ft. of a known child molester. They never change.

no and no.  it has been proven they do not change.  dont put your kids in that situation.  please.

follow your gut instinct.  i wouldnt even have anything to do with him.

 I dont believe they can change, and will NEVER EVER let my child any where near that person (even if it's their own grandparent)

Hell no. I dont trust anyone besides my hubby and parents and his teacher. Period.
