A vacation that is 20 hours away, with a baby and a puppy, by car? And no we can not leave the dog at home.

Other than just as frequent stops as you can allow, I got nothing really. But, here's a bump for you, hopefully you'll get some good tips.

Put the puppy in a crate, with some blankets. Stop frequently so it can get out and move around/pee. Everytime we traveled far with our dogs, they get car sick - putting them in a crate keeps the puke from going all over your stuff!

For the baby, depends on how old. A portable DVD player always works. Small activities, and snacks will keep them entertained.

Get a lap tray for the baby to play with things on that way things are not being dropped as much, Plan to take frequent breaks, and good luck.
