Should I say something? RAPE/PORN/UNDERAGE
- 102 Replies
I picked up my younger sister from college last weekend and she brought a male with her that lives in the same area and asked me to meet his family with him. Carpool. I agreed to drop him off with his family. We had difficulty reaching his family so we all went back to my house for a while. He was using my sisters laptop for random things for several hours in her room with headphones in. She said he does it a lot.
I later took him home and asked my sister to see her laptop. I checked the history a for the past few hours the history was nothing but google searches for the following subjects: "rape porn", "single young sluts in your area", "old man banging underage girl", "child molesters", "Japanese rape porn", "young child rape porn" and lots more!
I was so shocked and terrified by what I saw I immediately broke into tears. I showed my sister and she didn't seem shocked. That when she said thy had the same classes together because they had the same major and she didn't want things to get weird if she brought t up. My sister is majoring in PRE-K EDUCATION!
Obviously this guy doesn't need to work around children, don't you agree? Should I do or say something? Who should I report this to if so?
Yeah i would say something
oh lord.. i'd definitely report it, but i have no idea to who....

Just looking those up can get your sister in trouble
Yeah i would say something
Underage porn- yes
i'd report it, but idk who you would have to report it to....maybe the president of her college?
hmmm that's weird. i'd ask your sister to talk to him about it. Maybe he's writing a paper? Just because he's majoring in education doesn't mean he can't take classes on criminology or psychology or something.
if you really want to report it maybe talk to the school?

Rape porn is legal and I would not say anything. Underage porn (real, not CGI) is kiddie porn and a crime.
One problem in some of the porn cases is that many time something that looks like kiddie porn is computer generated or digitally enhanced. That is not illegal. As an example, porn sites will "de-age" adult models using the same software that is used to age pictures of missing children. So they can take an adult porn acctress and make her look 12. That is not illegal. They can also generate extremely life-like images (think of the movie "300" where 95 % of the "actors" were computer generated. That is not illegal.
I would almost guarantee you that the sites that came up in his search were not underage - just looked underage. Real kiddie porn is not floating on the web. It's typically hidden using steganography and would not be available from a google search.
So would you be able to recognize real kiddie porn from generated porn which was ruled legal by the supreme court over a decade ago?
