It really is, folks.
Why brag that you're getting a large refund? To rub it into the faces of those who don't qualify for anything? To advertize that you're poor enough to get the extra money?
Christ, we're only technically a few days into tax season and I'm already sick to death of seeing the threads.

One thing I've never understood about Cafemom. Bragging about your tax return, your food stamps and any other PA you get is fine and dandy. Bragging about how much money you earn, what you can afford to buy on your own is mean, tacky and rubbing in it poor people's faces.

I agree. I want to brag that for once we dont owe hundreds in state tax...we finally (kinda) figured it out! Lol

Being poor isn't the only way to get money back. We are getting a large chunk back but that is because we have extra taken out of his pay for that reason. Easy way to save for our dream house. Regardless, I wouldn't share our finances openly, especially on a forum.
