They didn't take so much out of DH's check each week....We are a family of 5 and get 250 a month in food stamps, however I figured out last night if the IRS did not take out roughly 462.00 a month from DH's paycheck we would do just find and not need any help!!!

Interesting. My us self employed, so we don't get taxes taken out monthly. But we get 700 a month in fs

So adjust you exemptions so they take less. You'll just get a smaller refund at the end of the year. We adjusted DH's exemptions (The IRS has a calculator for this) and are keeping $175/month more of his pay. :-)

I wish I only had that little taken out. I get over about a grand to $1500 taken out ever month. It blows.

Honey you do what you need to do!I dont live your life and neither do these people.So if you need it then you need it. If your gut says your wrong then your wrong.I think all these fs posts,pa are their personal business! Go talk to someone who cares and loves you.Not the public because they are cruel ones out their ! I wish you the best :)

 Well, we all have to pay taxes in order to support the entitlement programs such as FS, and to pay for other important services

 With insurance and every thing we have $1023/month coming out so yeah we wouldn't need any help if we didn't have that coming out a month

 Such is life. I am not even eligible for foodstamps and am a single mother with a not so great job...  Oh well.
