Quoting Anonymous:

I live in Northern San Diego, so this is a guess, I would say ~30 min depending on the part of El Cajon you are going to.

Quoting Anonymous:

Born and raised in San Diego. and I just can't fathom WANTING to live in Oceanside. Encinitas, Lecudia, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, Del Mar. I get all of those......Oceanside :shudders:

Quoting macysmom:

My grandparents own a house there and its so nice to visit and surf. I just like it. I'm from Florida but I would rather live on the west coast.

Quoting Anonymous:

Ick, why Oceanside? Why not another coastal community. The segment of Oceanside, that is nice is tiny and surrounded by, well, ick.

Quoting macysmom:

Oceanside, California. Also somewhere in Australia. Surfing is my main thing in life.

Random, but how far is El Cajon from the airport, assuming traffic is flowing?

Thanks.  I'm heading there in a couple weeks and am unfamiliar with the area.

Stay where I'm at but renovate my house & build a 4 car garage. Buy a vacation home somewhere on a beach & travel while the renovations are being done.

I would still stay in Alberta, because I really love it here. But there's this new lake community with some small residential islands I want to live there!
