I have seen so much about it lately. So tell me...

Where do you buy it?

What do you use it for?

* thank you all so much for your tips and links. I got a lot of useful information and I am planning on getting some the next time I go grocery shopping*

I get ours on Amazon (I like the convenience and we don't have a Trader Joe's). I use it in the moisturizing spray for my foster daughter's cornrows. We use it in cooking and as a moisturizer on skin too :-)

You have to warm it since it's in solid form but we love it :-)

How do you use it as a dry scalp treatment?

Quoting secondboy2012:

Use it in chapstick, lotion, dry scalp treatment. That's all I can think of now. I use it daily. Oh in toothpaste and deodorant too. I make all my own.

Put the jar in hot water to melt (never microwave it kills the good stuff in it). Massage it into the scalp and leave it on for a bit. Shampoo it out. I use it on my son who has really dry/flaky scalp. You can add some tea tree oil to it. That is good for dry scalp too.

I use it on my lips. But it made my hair way greasy. I think the best place you can get it is whole foods and organic markets. My mom bought me mine as a gift. Argan oil is great for the hair. I get that at Sally's!
