Teen mom question

Specifically for those who had their kids while in hs, so 17 and under.

I think we can all agree that becoming a teen mom is not ideal. And usually an unexpected surprise. But I'm curious if anyone planned to get pregnant that young.

Yes, from the time I was a toddler.  She'd also bathe with me every night until I moved out.

 My mother was sexually abusive all my life and my father was physically abusive.  My mother told me that the only way I was getting out of the house was if I was pregnant and got married.  So I got pregnant at 13, but they forced me to have an abortion, then I tried again at 16 and they let me get married.

My friend did. She planned it and had her son at 16. We weren't talking at that time or I would have told her it was a bad idea

That's terrible. I hope you have made peace with it all. I was molested as a child by an older male cousin and had a hard time coping as a teen. I never did get pregnant, but I hated myself.

I was 18, married & fine if I got preggo. Had my ds at 19.

I got pregnant at 16 and no it was NOT planned, it was date rape :( But I got an awesome son out of it and he is not 7 years old

 I started trying to get pregnant at 16 and got pregnant at 17. I had my son at 18 though.
