Send your sick kids to school!!!! Ugh! (You in general). My dd got a flu shot and i have been constantly drilling into my kids to cover their cough/ sneeze and wash their hands. My dd comes home all the time complaining about kids coughing and sneezing and i seen a kid in her class puking on mon. In one month dd has gotten the flu (it wasnt severe because of the shot but still) and now today she has strep throat! Please leave your fevering and vomiting kids at home and teach them good hygiene!! Grrr. Rant over!

In our area if your kids miss too much they call cps on you. Puts even sahms like me in a tough place. I sent him in with a cough bc otherwise he'd be missing a week. I brought him cough medicine to school and the school doesn't care as long as they get their 95% attendance.

You do realize that sometimes an illness can strike at anytime, right?  My child has gone to school feeling great, and 3 hours later I get a call that she threw up.

Oh and he came home one day complaining of stomach pain and he had a fever. His music teacher told him he was fine and to sit down. They didn't even send him to the nurse.

Oh yes so easy for me to say because I have never dealt with sick kids. eye rollingI have gone through so much strep throat sicknesses with my kids in the past year it is ridiculous. And my wife finally went back to work after getting sick. I have been taking care of her the past few days. And right now my 6 year old is asleep on the couch because he doesn't feel good.
