so a year ago today I got married. Exciting right? I bought my dh a card, chocolate rose and little hearts and two things of MT DEW( a joke) and made the table all pretty when I got home.

he just told me happy 1 yr.

Did you give him the one week reminder? I mean, guys don't think about things like that. I'm sure he had every intention of getting you something, but after working all day maybe he didn't realize what day it was....?

If you take this attitude you will always be forgotten because he will think it's expected.  My husband is more into celebrating anniversaries and my birthday than I am.  He even gets me a gift and flowers each year for the anniversary of our first date.  You need to train men and not accept that type of behavior.

 It's vert childish to be so but ass hurt.   He did remember.
