Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

Now, what shall I do, maybe I will go to a casino, maybe I will go on a shopping spree, maybe I will spend it foolishly, or maybe I will be normal and pay bills and save :)

What are you going to be doing with it?

I'm in an income bracket in  which I do not  receive many of the credits that many here do. I also do not have any children to claim. Plus  the majority of my income is made from investments (so I have an entirely different tax rate to pay that those who have "earned" income)  what income of mine isn't made in investments comes from my pension that I receive.

Quoting ajrjj05:

Are you a buiness that you have to pay in?

I say happy saving :) I see to many waste it away.. :/

Quoting spicy_n_sweet:

I do not receive a refund.  Never do.

To those that do......happy spending !!

Quoting ajrjj05:

exactly what everyone else is talking about tax money.. I figured I would jump on the band wagon, although unlike them I am NOT! getting back anything close to what they say :(

Again, i apologize if it is the way I didn't take time to pre think what I wrote, sometimes i think 20 different things, that are important and don't write down a star choice for that particular answer.
This isn't a troll post.

Money is * to me a subject for itself, like if you make it, it's money, ...it's spent only on whatever is important to that person.  I am fun also, but these days we live in are dictated to us, not the other way, like what is on a network for choosing television, EX:  We buy cable and pick the most for less bundle, and it's really not what I want, I hate t.v.,   it's like a vortex that is for the lost mind.

I like to be in charge of the thought in my mind, not have it be controlled.  T.v. just gave it all away.

I never understood or did the follow the leader thing with money, banks, jobs, entertainment, or spending for tax time.  I always just worked saved and spent with the mind that if I don't work I don't eat. and was fortunate to have anyplace to live at all.

Not these days, everyone is on the bandwagon to get what they want, no matter what it takes, or who they hurt.  I always saw things much more slower and with the best for all in mind.  This is why sometimes I will get a comment or 2 that nobody ever thinks what I say makes ****ANY sense  ( whatever they think isn't my problem)   I say just don't read it, or make your own opinion.

It is a choice to get on here to type anything, and if we THINK first, ....   type is right.

I accept criticism. It's life

Quoting ajrjj05:

Sorry I thought you called me a troll.. :/

Quoting okijet:

sorry , my judgement is wrong, and trollish!! lol.  I am the real troll I guess. (sorry

Money baffles me, since we live in a pay later society it seems  odd to me at least that the only time we get noticed for our work is at tax time, and it's your own money you worked for.  weird.

I guess It explained itself in the bible, where we all are supplied with enough, and the tithe was meant for the upbuilding of the church or something.  It seems weird that all the work families endure is only focused on once a year.  I have a tough perception of that.  If  you are given only ''this much'', and need to save for 1 x per yr. to improve, and that is when most improvements are made in govt' during that time like grants and improved highways, and all the bridges, then they are literally using the money they just gave the tax payer from their rebate. ???

Quoting ajrjj05:

If is was trollish I would be ANON. I thought I would jump on the "tax post band wagon" I am not getting anyitng close to what I see others are. The little I am getting will have to be saved.. I just wonder what all those with $10,000 returns really do with it. I wonder what they would do if they only get a $1,000. It was more of a fun post.

Quoting okijet:

I don't tell anyone what I do with my money, or if I had it.   This is pretty trollish.  since that is the term most widely used as per date.

I am not going to say what I think about anyone else's money it's money.... enough said

oh I understand. Having kids to claim does help. My friend is a single business woman with no kids and has to pay in like $10,000 a year. She is a life insurance agent, the pay is not taxed until the end of the year.

oh.. not my business to be in .. :(

Quoting sweetmissy_05:

It's my child support and there's good reasons why I haven't been able to pay it.  So we're just letting taxes get it and it'll be done.

Quoting ajrjj05:

That sucks but if he was paying his support that woudln't of happened :( Maybe next year you can get it :)

Quoting sweetmissy_05:

We won't see any of it..it's going to back child support.

We live in a period of ignorance, not a period of grace, .. nobody gives to give, it's usually a ''here, but i need the money back later.''.

I don't think that way, when I had money I gave.  Never asking for it back.  And still was criticized for that.

Not sure what it proved. (nothing

Learn more is what we must be doing,  I even now, when on or off this board, ask God for wisdom, it's not me that thinks the entire country is powerless, it's the structure fruit.   LIke whatever we see happening is the fruit of it.  Storms or natural disasters are something we can't govern but we can alleviate the distress afterwards.  I don't see much help since I am not near the causes for that type of help.  I don't mean that giving to someone in need is wrong, but when someone is in a disaster I don't pray that they can't get help,... but I am not ignorant of that fact that I can pray that they do get proper help.  And maybe if all of us meant what we pray, and not feel oh it cannot happen to me, ( it could anytime).   I usually don't measure country success, or other country more or less than us, it's one world, and it's in the bible to help/ love thy neighbor as you expect to be treated .   So if we don't it's bound to happen to us if we don't give, it' won't be given back.   THAT IS why I say when I give I do it without asking for anything back.  That is really selfish when I do something just to get back something.

Aside from forgiveness, we all need it, I will forgive out of my heart.  Not to get back.  Just so I fulfill the commandment of my God which says, forgive others as you are forgiven.  I know what forgiveness feels like, but unless I practice forgiveness it's kind of pointless to expect anyone to forgive me than.

Because you know all about my life and know that there is somewhere in my life the money would be better served? Nope. You have no clue, so you're mad for NO reason.

Long-deferred repairs on our vehicles, so they'll (hopefully) keep running for a while longer; if there's any left after that, maybe we'll do something frivolous.
