My husband is home 6 days a month and I work 40 hours a week in an opthalmology office. We are getting 1100 back in taxes. 600$ is for out of pocket child care taxes and we are low middle class. We pay $1000 in rent every month, no assistance. My house is 900 sq feet.

We paid $47,000 in taxes and are getting back $1600. By ACCIDENT. Our CPA (former) had my husband over paying on his SS tax. Normally we owe.

so adjust your withholding. then you'll get more back next year. although really, you are supposed to aim for a very small refund anyways.

last year we owed.... 4$ lol.

Oh believe me, I am! I paid for so many years....The tax consultant said we should have another kid, to get more back, I said this ones expensive as it is, I spent way more than what i got back LOL
