Do you check on your older kids?

While they're sleeping? I do. My son isn't a baby. He's five but after he goes to sleep I still check on him once in a while. Someone said I needed to cut the cord.
Is it strange that I do this?

I still check on my almost 9 yr old dd. granted I go in and turn her light off and turn her tv off. But I still look at her.

No, I'm afraid of what I might see.

They're 18 and 15 though.

Ha....I'm sure I'll be over the "checking stage" once he reaches that age too.

Not unless my dd has been sick. She's 13 and she sometimes wakes up if i go in her room so I just let her be.

Fortunately for him, my grown son lives in another state or I'd still be checking on him!
