OK I posted this to get you women riled up, I did not post it to be mean, I actually hate this saying, "meat is for men, bones are for dogs." It bugs the crap out of me.
I posted this because there is a lot of fat bashing that occurs on this site, being on the other end of the bashing doesn't feel good does it?
It hurts everyone equally, so maybe next time you make a fat joke you should think about how many people will be bothered by it. Same for skinny jokes. It hurts being bashed, maybe as mothers we should move on and give it a rest.
Fat/skinny bashing is the same as being racist, is it right? No, does that make it stop? No.
So maybe the next time you decide to say that fat women are disgusting or skinny women are disgusting, you might stop and think that what you are about to say, might be the final straw for somebody and they commit suicide or something just as drastic.
You get more flies with sugar, than vinegar.

I am a skinny woman, not bone skinny but skinny, but i have been on the other end too, i have been overweight. I have a lot of family who are overweight and i have never made fun or joked about overweight women because those kind of jokes hit really close to home. My children are not allow to make fat jokes and i don't think they ever would anyways because they get teased all the time. My daughter get teased for being to skinny, my son get teased for being to short. Someone will always find a reason to tease people and make fun of people and i think the only reason people do it is because they have self esteem issues and it makes them feel better to make fun and joke about other people. I have had to talk to my daughter, she came home in 5th grade crying saying her "suppose friends" told her she couldn't be part of the talent show because she is to skinny. I was so fucking mad and i told her that they are only jealous because they are as skinny as she is, to not worry about it because one day they are going to wish they were skinny. My son comes home saying he is being teased for being short, being called shrimp or smurf. I tell him not to worry because one day he is going to tower over all of them.
i just don't understand why everyone has to tease everyone.

having confidence is one thing you may be very pretty and that's great! I still doubt that if you put a "curvy" woman up next to a woman who works out five days a week and has a healthy figure I doubt your average male is going to go for a woman who doesnt keep herself up. To me it just seems like common sense. I get that some guys are into different things but on a general level its not common. but youre right...its just my opinion. it would be an interesting poll.

I have had so many thin friends get turned down by guys and them actually flat out tell the girl that it's because they are into bigger woman.
I can't count the amount of men that hit on me when I was overweight ( I've lost almost 100lbs now))
I never,ever,ever lacked for any "lovin' " that's for sure. I literally was able to get WHATEVER man I wanted .

My thinner friends flat out told me MANY Times they were jelous because I was the one that got hit on when we went out -- by MANY men & never lacked for male company a day in my life.

My sister and I have a metabolism disorder, we also were starved as children, so yes, we are very thin. We have never made any sort of fat joke what so ever toward anyone and don't believe people are bad or ugly for being overweight. We have however been insulted and made the subject of a joke many times, my sister is 13 and has to deal with people saying things like that everyday in middle school. In the time you before you made your edit, people with the same problem that we deal with might have read it and been hurt. Personally, I've heard them all a thousand times and don't care, but others may have taken it more seriously. Think before you post. I get your point, but you went about it poorly, before you made that edit, you could have very well caused someone to be pushed over that edge or just hurt their self esteem just a little more.
