Caucasian Russian ovtcharka dog. I want.

Anyone have one? They are 200+ lbs and will shred any intruder into pieces. Probably rip out intestines. So you have to make sure they know who's boss. They are over 6 ft tall on their hind legs.

Is that the same as a Caucasian Mountain dog? I've wanted one of those forever, but I will have to wait until my kids are older, no way am I getting a dog that could pop my kid's head like a grape.

I've wanted one for a while now too but you have to be able to spend a lot of time with them to make sure they're well-socialized.

The breeders themselves crow about how large and difficult to control their animals are.  Yes, I so want to bring THAT into my home with my little kids, lol.

Besides, I live in town and live to be able to walk my dog without him going all Rambo on some passerby who sneezes wrong or something.

They are gorgeous but I prefer smaller breeds.
