Am I a disgrace? Teen mother question. ETA

I've seen how a lot of people frown upon teen pregnancy and teen parenting and think it's disgraceful and disgusting. So, I was wondering, would I be considered a 'disgraceful teen mom'?

I got married when I was 18, and got pregnant at 19. My son was planned. My husband is his father. We were married when he was conceived and born. We are still married

Just curious.

ETA: I'm 21 now and my son is 14 months.

If you fully support your child, not living off your parents or any for of PA I don't care if you got pregnant at 13.

I don't think you're a disgrace. You had a plan and it's working for you.

I do think it's a little sad when 'women' want to start a family so young. What's the rush? Pre-marriage/child adult-life are some of the best years!

I do get annoyed by teens who have accidental pregnancies and then want some kind of badge of honor, simply for doing what a mom should do.

Its not that we want a badge of honor, we just don't want to be frowned upon..

No way. Age doesnt matter as long as you can take care of your child.

Off of the internet, nobody really cares.
I never experienced any negativity as a pregnant 15 year old outside of my family. At least, not to my face.

So because I am using fs and my son gets medical and I had him at 18, I am a disgrace?
