I'm 17 and I live in ohio. I got my permit July 18, 2011 and it expired a year later July 18, 2012. You need to have a permit for at least 6 months before driving school and getting a license... It's feb 2013 and I now have the money to pay the 300 dollar driving school but if I go back to the DMV do I have to wait another 6 months even though I've had it for a yea but it expired? I don't know why they woul make me because in less of 6 months I will be 18 and won't need driving school but I need my license now I have a daughter and I work and I'm tired of relying to my boyfriend and his mom to take me to work everyday an errands. Do you guys know? Thanks. Sorry for errors and no paragraphs I'm mobile.

I have no clue. You might want to call your local DMV and ask them.
