Hearing Screenings?

My daughter has great hearing, she always has. We can be having a conversation in our room, and she can hear it 2 bedrooms down. It makes Christmas really hard, because she usually knows what we're getting her by the time Christmas rolls around. lol She's 6, btw.

So I get a notice from the school saying that as a result of her hearing screening, she should see their physician. Now, I don't have insurance, but we do have a savings specifically for medical, so it's not a big deal to go see a doctor, we have the money to do it. But, I'm kind of hesitant since she has great hearing, she's never had an ear infection, etc. I just want some insight in to this testing. I remember it being really short and there being about a thousand kids behind me waiting to go. I can't imagine it's very thorough. But maybe it is...

Does anyone know anything about this?

Could you ask the school what the results were?

It's a screening, not an exam.  That's why they're telling you to see a doctor.  Her hearing could be fine, or she could have some problems (even if she is able to overhear voices in a quiet house).  It could be high pitched noises she has trouble with, or something else.  Taking her in is probably a good idea.
