I'm in the kitchen cleaning up so I can make dinner Ds (3) is in the living room having a snack and watching a movie. and all the sudden I hear a blood curdling scream and then "mommmmyyyyy!!!!" I go in to see what's wrong and he's sitting on the couch clutching his finger and freaking out. I said what's wrong? He shoves his finger in my face and says "I thought it was popcorn and bit it." LOL he's fine. There isn't even a mark. I told him to slow down and be careful and he shooed me away back to the kitchen. Crazy kid.

Edit!!!
Oh my god. Guys it's popcorn and it's MY kid. Not yours. So obviously I know him well enough that he's fully capable of eating popcorn and not dying. He's been eating popcorn since he was 2. Hell he knows how to microwave it himself. Of course I do it for him but still. Way to ruin a fun post ladies. Kudos to you. It shouldnt surprise me there can't be a single post on here that doesn't turn into some bullshit.

I was thinking the same thing!  Anything can be a choking hazard-hence why people die (adults and kids) from *gasp* choking!

They recommend supervising children under 4 when eating popcorn.

Gar. Just checked. You're not supposed to feed popcorn to children until age 4. :( Oh, well. I learned something new.
