Only stupid people or little kids get motion sickness Edit ****

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

Kids get motion sickness because they're still getting used to what the world is and how they exist in it, Adults get motion sickness because they're too stupid to comprehend they're moving even while sitting on their butts.

Edit for those who don't understand why :  I equate self control and will power to intelligence. Both of which have been able to subdue the effects of motion sickness in people . Some people.

Wouldn't the fact that you don't know what the cause of motion sickness is make you the stupid one?

Whoa, logic! Nevermind. I'll get out of here with that...

I love when stupid people try to sound smart but it just ends in them proving they are stupid.

Um, no. The otoliths in your head are responsible for that and we have no control over it. Some people are more susceptible to it than others because their inner ear overreacts. Their eyes are telling the brain they are moving, but their body is giving the message that they are sitting still. The resulting confusion causes nausea.

You cannot change the way your body reacts, though sometimes you can do things to lessen the likelihood of getting ill (such as: not reading in the car, sitting in the front seat, doing the driving, sleeping when possible, having a hard candy to suck on, etc.) It has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence level and can strike anyone.

YOU are the one who sounds stupid.

same here. It makes me kind of dizzy to drive for long periods of time.

Wow. Stupidity never ends. I have inner ear issues. It throws off everything and causes motion sickness from time to time.
