Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

Ugh, does it piss anyone else off to see half naked ladies dancing on tv. And we wonder whats wrong with America. That is! Why bother stopping our kids from watching porn if they can just turn on the tv and watch a bimbo in a leather and lace stripper suit grinding all over the place. It is JUST disgusting. Women on tv are role models. If I HAD a daughter, I wouldn't let her watch this crap. Women just have no self worth or self respect now-a-days. That was a shameful disgrace. *Gross*

Ah, stirring the pot, haven't done this in awhile. My favorite part of the day you might ask? Watching a bunch of women who don't know you get angry about an opinion. Sweet... LMAO reading replies... See what I did there?

I agree I can't stand her and changed the channel for the show.

I don't understand any of her posts either. They're usually just miserable rants that everyone has to agree with lmao.

I am not sure what you are trying to say. I do realize that what I am saying is completely subjective (although, I do believe that objective evidence could be gathered to support it). I don't think any of the replies to this post could possibly be objective. We are all sharing our thoughts and opinions.

Gosh, even the comments  that OP must not be comfortable enough with herself buy into this idea that it is acceptable to live in a culture bathed in nudity and sexual provocation. I get that you can get used to it. You have to; we all have to. But that doesn't make it the otimal situation. I have a hard time believing that all you strong confident women out there really don't care that your husband/boyfriend can't even read a news article online without a pornographic image showing up in the sidebar. It sucks and I think it is okay to admit that. All that trying to stand up and be tough about it does is perpetuate the competition between women. "oh, you didn't like how Beyonce looked? You must not be woman enough to handle it because I handled it just fine." This is just another way that we fight against each other while claiming to have each others backs. Maybe it keeps us strong in a world where weakness gets crushed? I don't know, but it is sad that this is the way things are.

After she left Destiny's Child, she became some cocky ass monstrosity.

This is exactly what Beyonce lives off. Women who claim her songs are "empowering", and then shit like this happens where those of us who disagree are put on the spot and ridiculed for nothing.

I'm not an asshole, and I don't have a big mouth.

I haven't quoted every opposing opinion. I was simply showing how illogical your statement was.

Why don't you have some balls and directly quote me the next time you want to call me out of my name?

Quoting Mocking.Jay:

Of course there's always a big mouth who has to quote every single opposing opinion lmaooo. Asshole.

People can't stand it when they're ignored. :)

I mist disagree. I can't remember a song being " blatantly sexist" as you put it.
Diva-impowerment
Me myself and I- self-impowering
Run the world-class self impowering.
Now I will admit in the past a few have been freaky but I wouldn't say sexist. But to each their own opinion.

Quoting Mocking.Jay:

She doesn't sing about women empowerment. Her messages are blatantly sexist. Real women don't just sing exclusively about one side of the story.

Quoting .ChiMama.:

Beyonce is talented and sings about woman empowerment. She was actually wearing more than the cheerleaders. Additionally this was for a performance not for daily wear. That's where parents need to step in and show kids the other side if the picture. She's a performer but also an extremely successful business woman.
