My hubby had a manic episode and didnt sleep at all last night.

he finally crashed around 130pm.

its not 7pm. should I wake him up so he can sleep later tonight or should i leave him be? i'm worried that if i dont wake him he will wake up at like 10 and then not be able to sleep at all tonight..but i dont want to mess things up more for him. help?

let him sleep. My mom has bi-polar and she does that sometimes. i think itis better to just let him be.

Lt him sleep. Sounds like he was awake for awhile. If he's able to sleep through the whole night, it might help put him back on a schedule.

I don't think it will matter either way.  When you have mania your body just isn't doing things like it should.  Even if you wake him up he could still stay up all night again.

My husband has a bipolar spouse. Let him sleep, try to get back on track in the daylight. With me, if you woke me up now I would be awake until after bedtime tomorrow night. If you let me sleep until my body straightens itself out, things even out quicker.
