What happens if you file single with a qualifying dependent and not hoh? I accidentally hit single and now I'm worried about being rejected.

Nothing. You'll get slightly less money, but not really enough to matter. It won't be rejected.

It won't get rejected.
You will have paid more taxes then you should though. You can file an amended return... But those are scrutinized more... So determine of the audit risk is worth it.
