So I was looking forward to a really good return four my so. I didn't make much last year do I was going to let him claim my dd. He's supported her the entire year. And whai read on the irs sure he
Was able to claim her so he can file head of
household. And get the eic. Well my mom goes to do his taxes and she doesn't qualify do he can't file head of household. I'm irritated now.

My return was rejected because of this. He can claim her... But he doesn't qualify for eic. My SO claims my dd every year and files hoh but they aren't entitled to the eic because to get that you must be a biological, foster or step parent. He can still claim her and its a deduction. But no credit.

This is why I told SO to marry me in 2012. Fucking idiot.
