Half will be transferred to savings. Half will be used to pay down debt. We may squeeze $100-200 out for "fun money", but probably not.

Just as long as it takes to transfer it to our credit cards.  The return will take us down to owing on one card, and a bonus my DH gets in June will clear that one.

 Well if half are going into savings then your refund will last longer than 1 day I would presume.  Unless you are pulling it out of savings right away?

Until April 1st.....$1500 is going to property taxes when we get our return next week. The rest is going into savings and will be used as needed since I took an extended maternity leave and I only had 25 days of sick time. So starting in two weeks we will be a one income household until April 1st.

 NOt long. I already have it planned out what it is going towards. We are paying off everything we can or paying down what we can. I'm pretty excited about it. We really want to be debt free SOON!
