I bleached my hair. Twice because the first time it didn't get light enough. I followed to directions, it said I could leave it on for 2 hours and then wait 24 hours if I needed to do it again. I left it on less than an hour and waited 24 hours then did it again, left it for an hour. When I rinsed it out my hair felt soapy and it's like elastic and breaking. How do I fix this? Do I have to chop it off or is there something I can use to fix it?

So, I went ahead and put the pink on it. I figured if I have to cut it anyway, may as well. Not too bad, the damage isn't as bad as it looked I guess...it doesn't break or anything when it's dry. Only wet. I'll post another pic when I get it completely done. Right now it's brushed all weird lol

Yikes!!  Protein masks and condition the heck out of it!!  You might still have to cut it though.

No way of fixing it that I know of, that a lot of processing in a short amount of time!

Be gentle with it and use deep conditioning or protein treatments regularly. It will get better but it'll take a while.

You can't fix it.  Sounds like you did some serious damage to your hair and you may have to cut it.  I would suggest that you get get yourself over to a salon and have a professional take a look at it.

I always thought you had to wait 14 days before bleaching/coloring again.
