My daughter is eating emamame (soy beans) the package says

Edamame (fully cooked soy beans in pods)

Then at the bottom it says *allergy warning contains soy

Uh huh you don't say !?

Some people are less than smart, others are law suit happy. They are probably just trying to cover their bases so no one can claim they didn't know what they were consuming.

I am sure peanut butter has a warning that it contains peanuts. Companies have to cover their butts.

That the same as some peanut cans, I have seen where it states allergy warning contains peanuts. LOL on the flip side I understand the reason for a warning that states "processed in a plant that also processes tree nuts"

I know it just shocks me sometimes like I got cashew clusters and it says on the package "contains nuts" duh!
