And that poor teens are the most likely socioeconomic group to have abortions, researchers found that three-fourths of all abortions are the first for the woman, and that well-educated and affluent women are more likely to have abortions than poor teens.

Sounds about right.  Abortions are expensive.

What does it say about women using it for birth control?  It doesn't matter if it's the first or the fifth time, the reason behind it still can be the same.

The research shows that women do not typically have multiple abortions.

Welp.  I have yet to use it as "birth control" so, I suppose, yes, the study is correct.

I knew about abortions and all that jazz. The schools I went to taught us all about that stuff, however I didn't get an abortion because I don't believe in them and the one time I wanted one, I couldn't afford it.

True. And most women who abort were using birth control.

Having just one can still mean they're using as a means for birth control.

I never understood that argument anyway. Abortion would be a pretty expensive form of long term birth control.

Yes, even a single abortion falls under the umbrella term of "birth control." I suppose blow jobs can too, if we're looking at it like that.
