Should I cancel the FB friend request? What woulld you do?

Long story short, but I am part of a local group for moms of multiples.  We have real life meetings, and a facebook group.

Well I decided to send a friend request to one mom who had posted on our face book page. I have met her in real life twice.

Just a few minutes after I sent the request, she posted again on our FB group page, but did not accept my friend request.

It still says "friend request sent".

Should I just cancell the friend request?

Basically she ignored me, so I guess she doesn't want to add me, but would cancelling it make it worse?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... what would you do?

Maybe she didn't see it. I think you are being rather insecure and silly.

That happened to me with a woman who I have hung out with a few times through my other friends.  I saw she was on FB alot but never accepted me so I cancelled it.

thanks for the respose. I'll probaby cancel.  But now I'm afraid it will be more awkward when I see her at our meetings.  I shouldl have never sent it ha.  I will wait a little bit before I cancell

Sometimes people have to mull it over a little before they accept.  I really wouldn't worry so much about it.

Wait a bit.  She might have been in a hurry and not had time or noticed.  She might only have people on her facebook that she knows really well.  I wouldn't worry too much.  It doesn't mean she doesn't like you.  I probably means she is busy or very private.
