How much would you need to bring home to comfortably pay that and all utilities every month? No car payments.

At the risk of being bashed I will give further details. Currently I live in income-based housing. It's a very nice apt complex, most don't even know it's income based, because they're really nice. I'm reading to fully support me and my girls, but I can't see moving to something cheaper than $700 a month, because it wouldn't be a good area.
Anyway, I bring home about $1100 a month but I am looking for a higher paying job.based on my work experience, I should be able to fairly easily.
I hope I don't get bashed for trying to figure out how to get off of this assistance, without giving up the safety we appreciate in this neighborhood.
