Dh and I moved to a new "upscale" neighborhood last month. We're finally unpacked and everything is in its place. The kids and I were going crazy stuck in the house, so I found this indoor enrichment center. I was approached three times asking if was looking for a new family, could I handle a weekend charge, or how long have I been the children's nanny.

I am not the nanny. Yes, my children are biracial, but for goodness sake, they were calling me ma.
Just another reason I am ready to move back to the city.

Montgomery county, pa. Our oldest starts school in September. The schools are better here than where we were living. Plus dh wanted a yard and suburban living for our kids.

I'm sorry that you're dealing with it, but word will get around that you're not the nanny so it shouldn't be too long before you don't hear it anymore. Although if I were a SAHM (don't know if you are) and people were asking if I would be willing to watch their children on the weekends, or during the week I would probably jump on it. Extra money, heck yeah.
