He is sweet and I love him but he is trampling my daffodil bulbs!

Yes I am talking about a donkey. My neighbors to be exact, we have a gate that goes between our yards and he knows how to open it. Yes we have tried different ways of latching it.

No it is Donkey lol. Her kids named him. We are going to move my horses pen over next to his and see if it stops him from coming in my yard.

Good idea moving your horse closer to him. :) They're clearly friends. 

And the whole thing about maybe fencing off your flowers.

Also can I just mention how jelly I am that you have a donkey for a neighbor? All I have are three single loud 25 year olds. v.v  I'd much rather a donkey for a neighbor!!

 So remove the gate and put fence there, problem solved. Put the gate somewhere else on your property.
