DD is 2 and has peumonia hasn't eatten much in 3 days all she's really had was a bit of her soup and half an apple. She also has been drinking water and piedalyte and hasn't has any real wet diapers in 24 hours. We went back to the dr's yesterday but she didn't seem worried. She's also bleeding alot from her lips and gums...Does this seem normal for peumonia?

My kids don't eat much while they are sick.  As long as she is drinking I would not worry about it.  Use vaseline on her lips.

1 mom liked this

The bleeding would have me calling the doctor. That doesn't seem right IMO.

She is dehydrated, Mom. Cracked lips? I'd be bringing her in for fluids.

Cracked lips and skin suggest she's very dehydrated. I'd still go.

ask he what she would like to eat. My son was hit with a double ear infection and roseola. It was a week of fever and just feeling bad. He ate mostly bananas and homemade soup. He was drinking water, broth and juice. I would try and up what she is drinking. If you can get some fresh ginger make her a diluted tea with honey and ginger.
