Is this wrong of me...

My SO just got back close to 7,300 from taxes this year. We have a son together and he claimed me and my oldest son to boost his tax return this year giving him that extra 1,000 dollars. I'm a stay at home mom we don't share any accounts. He rarely gives me money only enough for childcare 2 days a week (only like 2-3 hours each) his boy. He says "Hey I'm going to give you some money like 500 dollars." I say "ok" but I'm really thinking that's it? Your getting 7,300 and your giving me 500? and I let you claim me and my oldest son. I'm kinda upset about it I could have let my oldest son's dad claim him and he was going to split it down the middle. That would have been about 1,500-2,000. Anyway what do you gals think am I wrong for expecting more?

I have no idea... Why don't you tell him how you feel?

I think if you want money you should get a job.

Clearly this is something you should've thought about. Why would you let someone who is not your oldest's father claim him? That doesn't seem right to me in the first place.

If he is your SO and you live together then I think that the money should be shared. No matter who make it. You should have a joint account not an "allowance" like a child.

Court ordered parenting classes?! Wow, mom of the year right here. You must have DCF in your lifes, courts don't just make parents do them!
