I just want to cry

Have you ever had one of those mouth sores (some people call them ulcers, some call them canker sores, they usually develop from an injury to the mouth)?

I have one right on the roof of my mouth behind my front right tooth.  It hurts so bad just to drink water.  I haven't eaten today because it hurts.  I have been rinsing with mouth wash several times a day (in addition to brushing my teeth) but that just makes it burn.

Any tips on how to ease the pain?

Hot salt water rinse and spit. Clove oil will numb it. Sip warm tea or soup. Tomato juice, lemon juice.

Rinse with peroxide and put some neosporin on it. Then quit rinsing so much... Just do it once in the morning and then again at night.

Put salt directly on it. Bear through the pain. Rinse with hot water. Should be okay after that.

Oh, CRAP. I can't remember the name of the stuff!  GLY-something.  Will help numb it and heal it.  Oh, GLYOXIDE.  In the toothpaste aisle.  It really works.
