My kids begged me to let them do math

It's almost bed time. I read them a story early so I told them they had 20 minutes to play. They are ages 4 yrs and 5 yrs ( close to 5 and 6)

So I made them little math work sheets, lol! They did good on them and when they finished the ones I wrote they started making their own to answer. That is what they are doing right now! Kids are so funny!

I'll post pics in replies

Oh, yes, for some reason my homeschooled daughter thinks she is cheating the system (mine) if she does her work ahead of time. She does well at math, but it is not her favorite subject, so she will do two days worth in one night. Not having to do it for two days and during the day makes her happy.

Hey, whatever motivates them!

My 5yr old DD loves for me to make her math worksheets too. She will sit with her dry erase board and make up her own math problems.

My oldest is in 3rd grade and very advanced at math. He was the same way and we actually started getting him Kumon workbooks and he LOVED them. In fact I may go pick up some for these two.

They always seem to enjoy math but tonight is the first time they begged to do math , lol!

They are VERY cute kids!!  I love their big, bright eyes!

Mine are home-educated and there are times they beg to do school work, too.   Especially if we take the summer off or something, they undoubtedly are moping around by the end of summer saying they can't wait until we start schooling again!

My eldest is pushing me to let her start pre-algebra.   She's supposed to be 5th grade, but in math, she is just a whiz...  if only she felt that way about writing, too!
